Durabook Americas Expands Executive Team to Fuel Continued Growth

Industry Veteran Joe Guest Takes President Role at Rugged Computer Company

announced that due to increased demand for its DURABOOK product line and an aggressive growth strategy, the company has expanded its executive ranks. Former President, Tom Wang will now serve as Chief Operating Officer, and industry veteran, Joe Guest, will take the helm as the company’s new President. Mr. Guest will focus on expanding the team’s sales force, and building customer-driven rugged computing solutions for the military, law enforcement, field service and other markets with highly mobile workforces operating in demanding environments.

We have experienced steady growth over the last few years, our stock is on the rise, and recent sales have jumped significantly,” said Tom Wang, Chief Operating Officer, Durabook Americas. “To maintain this momentum, expanding our executive team is a necessity. With Joe coming on board, and bringing a wealth of market experience and relationships, it frees me to focus on expanding our ability to deliver the operational experience our customers expect and deserve.”

Moving forward, Mr. Wang will focus on corporate strategy and ongoing business operations; ensuring the company maintains the efficient supply chain and business practices that have fostered its growth since his arrival in 2014. 

Joe Guest began his career in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard as a Program Manager working in various computer and telecommunication environments. Following the Air Force, Mr. Guest joined Abacus Technology where he worked at the Pentagon as a Program Manager supporting the IT requirements of the Air Staff. Mr. Guest has also held positions at Panasonic, where he focused on the use of rugged technologies in military flight line maintenance applications, and also at NCS Technologies as the Director of Air Force Sales and later as the Vice President of Sales.
