LEFTA Systems Launches Software that Encourages Citizen Reporting on Officer Conduct

Dec. 28, 2020
LEFTA Systems, the industry leader for law enforcement internal documentation processes and applications, today announced it has launched its Employee Conduct Tracking (EMCOT) software.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (December 16, 2020) – LEFTA Systems, the industry leader for law enforcement internal documentation processes and applications, today announced it has launched its Employee Conduct Tracking (EMCOT) software. A fully automated, customizable application, EMCOT can be placed on a law enforcement agency’s website and allows citizens to file reports of officer conduct, encouraging greater communication with the community it serves.

“As police officers hold one another accountable, the community also holds them to the highest standard. Implementing an employee conduct tracking software encourages transparency and perhaps most importantly, harnesses the power of an early warning system,” said Bryan Selzer, CEO and Founder, LEFTA Systems. “An early warning system prevents situations that cause a loss of community confidence and leads to stronger relationships across the board. This type of investment is the first critical step in beginning to provide clarity.”

EMCOT also assists with performance evaluations, provides insight into citizens’ perception and immediately notifies command staff of report submissions. Although the application is currently bilingual, other languages will be added in the future.

“By providing an open platform to pay compliments and file complaints, law enforcement agencies’ future actions can directly reflect their communities’ values.”
