Extech Data Systems offers its new portable three-inch battery-operated receipt printers for parking enforcement. When paired with mobile computers, Extech's three-inch printers streamline and speed up basic functions like ticketing, saving a significant amount of time and money. The Municipal Traffic Department in Roermond Council, Netherlands utilizes the Sigmax HP iPAQ PDAs and Extech's portable printers to modernize and automate its method of issuing penalties. The new system is easy to handle, and significantly increases the amount of time traffic wardens can spend away from their desks. Sigmax PDAs and Extech portable printers provide the flexible, lightweight solution that Roermond Council needs. The system allows the traffic warden to enter the details of each violation into the PDA, print the ticket, and then later synchronize the PDA with the computer at the central office.
