Zebra Technologies, a card printing and bar code labeling solution provider, announced that it is shipping a magnetic stripe card encoder option for its Value Line of plastic card printers. With this factory-installed option, users can encode 3-track high-coercivity (hi-co) or lo-coercivity (lo-co) magnetic striped cards. The magnetic stripe encoder enables the P110i, a single-sided plastic card printer, and the P120i, a dual-sided card printer, to be low-cost solutions for a wider variety of applications, including employee and student ID, access control, retail gift card, loyalty and membership programs.
