Aegis Engineering introduces Aegis-PAD PDA handhelds. Aegis has implemented a set of applications which includes incident, accident, and daily activity reports, equipment checklists, and ASPEN compatible truck inspections. Video clips, still pictures, and audio recordings can be captured with the Aegis-PAD and attached to the reports. Aegis' proprietary user interface speeds data entry and limits errors. The PDA sends the reports to the Aegis PAX-Server residing in the station. From there, data can be automatically imported into an RMS or court computer system(s) from Aegis or other vendors. Aegis-PAD is perfect for motorcycles, cruisers, bicycles, or foot patrols.
