MobiCAD is an in-vehicle Windows AVL application that provides a range of AVL functions, from basic position reporting, to realtime map displays with messaging. MobiCAD can be configured depending up vehicle hardware and operational needs. The mobile user is provided with a seamless data path to the dispatch center, with the ability to send and receive graphical or text information. The AVeL-Tech Inc. software provides interfaces to GPS, communications deveices, actuators and display devices. With a laptop configuration it can provide realtime position and status, realtime mapping and naviation, vechile base messaging, vechicle to vehicle messaging, forms based reporting and forms updating.
