ITA's customized multimedia applications enable law enforcement personnel to anticipate and develop response plans for homeland security threats before they occur. This pictured application was built under the oversight of the DoD Joint Staff and disseminated across the entire DoD. Currently used by more than a dozen state and local agencies, ITA's applications can be used as a standalone product or moderated by a facilitator to help law enforcement officials prepare for events such as chemical spills, the dissemination of biological agents or the detonation of explosives. After each sequence of events, users are prompted to decide on a range of responses from elevating the threat level, to contacting the media to alerting local hospitals. After each decision, the application evaluates the users' responses and recommends the proper course of action.
