Mobile Battery Service Station

Aug. 20, 2007

The Mobile Battery Service Station (MBSS), from TMS Medical Technologies, provides fast charging and conditioning of NiCd batteries for the Medtronic LIFEPAK 12 defibrillator/monitor. This service station features 12-volt DC and 110-240 volt AC power inputs, for use in emergency vehicles and the central station. It operates from the vehicle's 12-volt DC power and automatically switches to AC power when available. The MBSS charges two spare batteries faster than the LIFEPAK 12 typically drains them. It is ideal for long transports. A trickle-charge battery feature allows MBSS to compensate for self-discharge, allowing the user to keep two fully charged batteries on the shelf at all times.
