A patented micro-positioning card transport mechanism provides accurate card positioning that lets the P620 precisely print fine details such as ultra-small text, sharp photo images, special printing effects including covert printing, and gray-on-gray graphics that are difficult to copy. To heighten card security, the P620 is equipped with an ID/Log enabled driver that builds a record of card transactions for uploading to a central archive of cardholder data, including photo, personal statistics, employee number, date and time of issue, and other pertinent information.
