SmartCOP, Inc. is pleased to welcome the Crescent City Police Department to our group of Florida agencies working to keep the public safe. The Police Department, dispatched from Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, a SmartCOP agency, will be implementing mobile computers with our SmartMOBILE and field-based reporting modules.
Putnam County has been a long standing client of SmartCOP, first joining us in 2011 with our full suite of software solutions. The addition of Crescent City through a sublicense will allow their sheriffs complete access to our premier mobile software, SmartMOBILE. Through this software, sheriffs will have mapping capabilities and access to queries to find information while on the move, as well as offline capabilities. In offline mode, officers can work completely disconnected with no impeded options. Reports can be completed immediately, and will simply upload to the server once a connection has been re-established.
Moving into the future, there is no doubt that this department will see many benefits from the robust amenities of our SmartMOBILE software. We are thrilled to have Crescent City join our software solution family, and we look forward to seeing their growth as we move forward together.
