SmartCOP, Inc. is delighted to implement our SmartRMS (records management software) into not only the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office, but also the Lindsborg, Canton, and Moundridge Police Departments. At the beginning of February, McPherson County purchased our software, and all three police departments quickly entered into a sublicense for our SmartRMS software. All four agencies will work cooperatively to best implement our software for the betterment of public safety.
By having a cooperative agreement, the Sheriff Office and Police Departments will be able to more seamlessly share vital information. The close timing of each purchase will also allow all four agencies to train in conjunction with each other, thus helping their officers and employees to become more familiar. Additionally, by using our SmartRMS software, McPherson County Sheriff Office will also be able to export crash reports and other information to the Kansas Department of Transportation which is vital to the collection of data and statistics. Overall, this unique situation has created a great opportunity to take advantage of the full integration of the SmartCOP software. Our integration will allow for the seamless flow of information between all applications used by these agencies, thus creating a more efficient software experience.
With this newly formed cooperative, SmartCOP looks forward to the potential of growth that is available. Partnering with all four agencies at the same time will no doubt help to create a smoother transition and a more efficient communication between all parties involved.
