Sundance RMS features Windows-based screens that make data entry and report writing easy, clear and concise, says Dennis Withem, president of the Valley View, Ohio, company.
"Custom data labels for charge codes and unlimited data elements allow [users] to customize what data is collected by report and how it is displayed and reported," he explains. "Use of the Master Index for names, addresses, vehicle and property simplify report completion."
Sundance offers standardized screens and entry forms for a variety of reports, warnings, warrants, NIBR files and MNI files. Agencies can customize how data is tracked and displayed through the code tables and setup screen. Reports can be locked down and tracked. And, once locked, they cannot be modified.
Sundance is NIBRS and OIBRS certified, and OLLEISN Phase II compliant. It is also compliant with Justice XML standards. Among other functionalities, the software integrates with CAD and mobile systems; offers case management for detectives; is photo capable in incident, OH-1 and case management; allows for booking with medical sheet and photo; has a warning module that links with MNI; the lineup works with booking and downloaded photos; the RAP sheet conducts a system-wide search by name and Social Security Number; contains a Master Name index; the code tables for drop-downs are user definable; and field interviews link with MNI.
