MetroAlert, a leading provider of public safety software solutions serving agencies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, today announced it has partnered with CARFAX to provide an integrated solution for law enforcement agencies. MetroAlert customers using its Visual Alert records management system will now be able to easily submit their accident reports online, enabling police departments to streamline this process and get paid more quickly for accident report requests.
Visual Alert users will also have access to CARFAX's suite of Investigative Tools, which include CARFAX VIN Alert to monitor vehicles and get email notifications where there is activity reported to CARFAX; CARFAX Vehicle History Reports to enable searching, scanning and viewing vehicle history from their desktop or mobile device; and CARFAX Crash Center allowing them to search CARFAX's national database of accident reports to help solve crimes.
"Law enforcement agencies are inundated with reports to complete and file, so being able to partner with CARFAX and eliminate steps in one of their many processes can be extremely valuable for departments with limited time and resources," said Tony Iannacone, founder and president of MetroAlert. "We look forward to offering this to our customers and simplifying this part of their job."
"Visual Alert customers are the perfect fit for our web-based accident reporting solution," said Mike Irvine, CARFAX Law Enforcement Solutions. "The ease of filing reports not only benefits the police departments, but also enables citizens, insurance agencies and other interested parties to obtain the information in a much timelier manner."
