Massachusetts’ Municipal Police Training Committee Selects Acadis® Readiness Suite for Statewide Training and Learning Management System

New training solution will serve over 30,000 criminal justice personnel in the Commonwealth.

BLOOMINGTON, IN — Envisage Technologies, a technology firm based in Bloomington, Indiana, announced today that it was chosen by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Municipal Police Training Committee—the professional training standards oversight body for more than 30,000 criminal justice personnel in the Commonwealth—to implement the Acadis® Readiness Suite to replace its legacy training and learning management system.  The Acadis Readiness Suite is Envisage’s cloud based training and compliance solution purpose-built for public safety professionals. The Acadis Readiness Suite will be used by Massachusetts to automate training operations, including curriculum development, scheduling, registration, and testing.  Additionally, Acadis will allow the Commonwealth to track the career training, compliance, and certification records for new municipal, University of Massachusetts, and Environmental Police officers as well as veteran members of the force. The statewide system will connect all police departments, and will allow police agencies to report officer training and employment, register officers for courses, and renew certifications in a highly-secure cloud-based framework. Acadis will support the entire hire-to-retire lifecycle to ensure that each officer remains in compliance with all certification requirements.

The Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC) serves the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by establishing training standards for and by providing training programs to more than 20,000 professional men and women who serve as police officers throughout the Commonwealth.
