Cortez Police Department partners with eFORCE Software for public safety needs
Logan, Utah (PRWEB)May 23, 2016 -- The City of Cortez, Colorado Police Department has recently signed on with eFORCE Software as one of its newest customers.
“We’re currently required to use seven different software programs,” said Lieutenant Andy Brock. “eFORCE is all in one.”
The police department will be implementing eFORCE’s Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management and Municipal Court Software.
“We expect an ease-of-use we have not worked with in years,” claimed Brock.
The City of Cortez is the county seat for Montezuma County, the most southwestern county in Colorado. Located just eight miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park, Cortez is often referred to as the cultural center of Mesa Verde Country. The police department’s jurisdiction covers a geographical area of more than five and a half square miles.
According to Brock, Cortez selected eFORCE for a number of reasons. After speaking with existing customers, seeing the software’s ease-of-use, listening to the vendor’s presentation and evaluating the price, Cortez officials chose eFORCE Software.
“The best part of working with eFORCE so far has been the people,” said Brock. “I sent a request to our former vendor and received a response three weeks later. eFORCE responds right away.”
