Minox has combined timeless design, highest optical performance and light weight in their two new BD Series binoculars - BD 8.5x42 and BD 10x42.

Aspherical lenses optimize the contrast and deliver sharper images, edge to edge. Perfect for observing game, birds or any distant view, these top-of-the-range binoculars are surprisingly lightweight, reasonably compact and priced very competitively.

The intricate Minox objective lens system, with internal focusing, guarantees excellent viewing, even in low-light situations. Fewer and thinner eyepiece lenses reduce length and weight, and produce top optical performance and enhanced light transmission.

The objective lenses, with 42mm entrance pupil, have low-reflection M*Coating and a phase-correction layer on the silvered prisms. Eyeglass wearers will appreciate the eyepieces equipped with extended eye relief and individually adjustable rubber eyecups.

Ergonomically designed, the body has a streamlined shape and is made of extremely sturdy aluminum, with a new protective rubber armoring that assures durability and comfort. Watertight to 16'5" and dust-proof, these Minox binoculars will perform reliably in wet weather or rough terrain. Argon gas filling provides superior protection against both corrosion and fogging.

Both BD models measure just 5-3/4"x2-7/8"x2-1/16" and weigh 24.5 oz. The 8x42 has a field of view of 315 feet at 1,000 yards; the 10x42, 321 feet. MAPs are an affordable $549 for the 8.5x42 and $599 for the10x42.
