The Spectroline OPTIMAX Multi-Lite Field Kit (P/N OFK-300A) enhances the detection, inspection and photography of natural fluorescence found on bite marks, bruising, pattern wounds, biological stains, bone, blood, bodily fluids and more. It combines a rechargeable flashlight body with three Qwik-Connect interchangeable LED heads that provide single wavelength illumination in UV-A, blue and white light. This is one such powerful light source that is important in the identification of forensic evidence.
The lightweight flashlight (only 15 oz) has a rugged, corrosion-resistant aluminum body that allows it to stand up to heavy use in the field. Powered by a rechargeable battery stick, it provides 90 minutes of continuous inspection between charges. Its Electronic Intensity Stabilizer ensures consistent performance; the beam strength will not weaken between charges.
Also included in the kit are UV-absorbing spectacles and orange contrast spectacles, along with smart AC and DC chargers, all conveniently packed in a padded carrying case.
