L-Tron announces its attendance at the IAI Conference in Reno, NV from August 11-17, 2019. A team from L-Tron will be exhibiting at the conference with OSCR360, a powerful photography and presentation tool designed for investigators, law enforcement, first responders, government organizations, and private agencies to use on-scene, for training purposes, and in the courtroom.

There are expected to be between 700 and 1300 people in attendance at this year’s event, the 104th conference of its kind for the International Association for Identification (IAI). This year in Reno, attendees can expect to hear from a variety of notable presenters, including keynote speakers Lt. Brian Murphy (Ret.), the first responding officer to the 2012 Sikh Temple massacre in Wisconsin, and Deputy Sheriff Paige Kneeland, who will be speaking on her use of DNA technology to solve high-profile cold cases in the Sacramento, CA area. The L-Tron team has 2 speaking spots as well; Trevor DiMarco & John Dobies will lecture on OSCR360 in the courtroom and in the environmental conservation fields.

OSCR360 is a multifaceted tool that includes a 360-degree camera and software that was built in-house from the ground up by L-Tron in close collaboration with law enforcement officers and prosecuting attorneys. The OSCR system is used for dozens of applications, including:

  • homicide and arson investigation
  • courtroom prosecution
  • motor vehicle crash documentation
  • active shooter/emergency response preparedness
  • environmental safety
  • forensic science & criminal justice education

Stop by the L-Tron booth at the IAI Conference in Reno and see for yourself how OSCR is working hard alongside hundreds of officers, investigators, firefighters, security personnel and professors nationwide, including those at the Boston Police Department, Orange County, FL Sheriff’s Office, and the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science.
