DETROIT, MI—Two men who allegedly shared a video of themselves pointing firearms at a Detroit police cruiser online have been arrested.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, the video was posted on Instagram, helping the city police department’s crime center identify the suspects, as well as recover multiple firearms.
Officials told the TV station that the suspects, each age 19, were also alleged to be involved in a nonfatal shooting last year after police executed a search warrant at a suspect’s home, discovering clothing they wore during the 2024 incident.
A third individual was also arrested but later released without charges, officials said.
