The Medic 1 EMS Parka, from Lion Apparel, is made of rugged 100 percent Cordura nylon, lined and taped to resist liquid and bloodborne pathogens. It meets OSHA 29 CFR Part 1910.1030. This parka features a double storm flap with water channel and heavy-duty zipper/hook and loop closure, an interior radio pocket on the left chest with zipper closure, expandable patch pocket on the right chest; and handwarmer/patch pockets with expansion pleat and hook and loop flap closure. 3M Scotchlite reflective material is on the parka, with 2 inches silver on the arms, front and back chest. The parka also includes drawcords at the waist and hem and shaped elbow, and elasticized cuff with hook and loop adjustment. The collar can be extended or folded down, and is set with heavy-duty snaps for the optional hood.
