Through a unique inter-company partnership between VF Imagewear and The North Face, The Force Jacket was created. The Force Jacket will become a part of the Horace Small line, which serves law enforcement, emergency response, tactical, land management and security. The jacket was tested during a Search and Rescue 24-hour winter survival training held in the Cascade Mountains of Southern Oregon. During the course of the training, temperatures hovered in the single digits throughout the night and would warm to nearly 20 degrees in daytime. The jacket performed flawlessly. The ability to shed layers from beneath the jacket was invaluable while performing tasks in the afternoon. Using the shell with the liner allowed users to stay warm and dry in the snow during the night.
