A Los Angeles County deputy shot and wounded a suspect who had allegedly fired a gun into a car with a child inside it last month.
The agency released body camera footage from the Oct. 11 incident on Friday. Just after noon, deputies were responding to a domestic disturbance involving a man and woman fighting in a car, KABC-TV reports.

The suspect was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive. Two loaded handguns were recovered from the scene.
According to investigators, the suspect had fired two shots during the incident, with one shot entering the vehicle where the child was. The woman and the child were uninjured in the incident.
