An NYPD officer was pushed onto the tracks at a Queens subway station while trying to stop a group of fare beaters over the weekend.
Police officials said that two men and two women walked through the service gate of the Parsons-Archer Avenue subway station in Jamaica to avoid paying the fare just after midnight Sunday, according to WCBS-TV.
When the officer and his partner tried to stop the four suspects -- all believed to be in their 20s -- one of the men knocked the officer onto the track bed.
The police officer's partner was able to help lift him out, but the suspects were able to escape.
The NYPD has released surveillance video of the suspects, who are currently being sought.
