SKIDCAR is excited to announce Roger Schroer as the keynote presenter for the 2019 Driver & Rider Training Symposium.
Roger is the current manager of the Performance Driving School at Transportation Research Center (TRC) in East Liberty, Ohio, with over 40 years of experience as a Test, Development, and Performance driver.
He has extensive testing expertise, spanning vehicle performance, durability, and stability tests on multiple components/systems for a wide variety of vehicles including production sedans, sports cars, light trucks, motorhomes, and motorcycles, as well as numerous high speed tests for top speed determination, component durability/verification, and system performance.
Currently, Roger manages the multi-level driver development program he created at TRC, intended to provide auto industry professionals with training to improve their understanding/skill levels related to vehicle performance testing. He also provides a teen defensive driving basics program for the local community.
Roger also has a long (40+ year) history of participation in amateur sprint and endurance car and karting road racing, including landspeed racing, Bonneville salt flats, and multiple American and world records in electric and hydrogen fuel cell-powered streamliners, with speeds up to 358 MPH.
