Chambermax releases TA-1 tactical slide enhancement for Glock pistols

Chambermax has announced the release of their unique tactical slide enhancement for semi-automatic pistols, the TA-1.

Minneapolis, Minn.  (January  2017)  – Chambermax has announced the release of their unique tactical slide enhancement for semi-automatic pistols, the TA-1. The TA-1’s patented design provides increased grip engagement for shooters in adverse conditions, situations of extreme stress, or those with compromised grip strength, while maintaining an unencumbering, snag-free profile.

Conceived and designed by Chambermax’s experienced team of law enforcement veterans and mechanical engineers, the TA-1 was the team’s answer to a common problem they have witnessed shooters experience for years during training and operations. “We’ve been discussing this idea for a long time and have finally brought it to life with the TA-1,” said David Sohm, the company’s co-founder. “My partners and I have watched scores of people struggle with properly establishing a grip and racking the slide of a pistol with appropriate force for years. While proper training is always the first step, it’s been simply amazing to see how much easier this product has made weapon manipulation for the vast majority of shooters.”

The Chambermax TA-1 solves the very real issue of slide manipulation in less than ideal conditions by providing increased grip area and a slight wedge at the back of the pistol’s slide. This can be especially beneficial for shooters with reduced grip strength or those with gloved or covered hands, like law enforcement and military operators. The increased surface area and wedge-like shape of the TA-1 significantly enhances a shooter’s operational abilities, much like an extended charging handle for a battle rifle, but without the risk of snagging on other equipment.  The company’s first release is designed for Glock pistols chambered in 9mm, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W with plans for new fits and models to follow.

The TA-1 for Glock was recently submitted to the National Tactical Officers Association’s (NTOA) Member Tested and Recommended program and received a score of 4.4 out of 5 on their rating scale and was granted an official “Recommended” status from its member-based product testing team.   The TA-1’s MSRP is $39.99 and is available for purchase direct from the manufacturer at www.Chambermax.us as well as through Brownells at www.Brownells.com. Dealer inquiries are welcome.
