Chambermax has announced the release of their unique tactical slide enhancement for semi-automatic pistols, the TA-1. The TA-1’s patented design provides increased grip engagement for shooters in adverse conditions, situations of extreme stress, or those with compromised grip strength, while maintaining an unencumbering, snag-free profile.
The Chambermax TA-1 solves the very real issue of slide manipulation in less than ideal conditions by providing increased grip area and a slight wedge at the back of the pistol’s slide. This can be especially beneficial for shooters with reduced grip strength or those with gloved or covered hands, like law enforcement and military operators.
The increased surface area and wedge-like shape of the TA-1 significantly enhances a shooter’s operational abilities, much like an extended charging handle for a battle rifle, but without the risk of snagging on other equipment.
The company’s first release is designed for Glock pistols chambered in 9mm, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W with plans for new fits and models to follow. The TA-1 for Glock was recently submitted to the National Tactical Officers Association’s (NTOA) Member Tested and Recommended program and received a score of 4.4 out of 5 on their rating scale and was granted an official “Recommended” status from its member-based product testing team.
