LensPen Celebrates 25 Years of Lens and Optics Cleaning
It has been 25 years since LensPen introduced their proprietary carbon cleaning technology as a quick, effective and safe way to remove grease and fingerprints from cameras, binoculars, scopes and other fine optics.
“For photographers, outdoor enthusiasts – anyone who owns a lens or a screen – LensPen is not just an accessory, it’s a necessity,” Ryan Keating, Vice President of Sales and Marketing said. “As new categories of innovative consumer electronics have been introduced, LensPen developed new products to meet the demands of these new technologies.”
LensPen re-engineered its original style with a new ergonomic design and twist-off cap in 2012.
Two years later LensPen introduced Invisible Carbon which features LensPen cleaning technology with a lighter color carbon.
The cleaning power of LensPen is not limited to camera, binocular and scope lenses. LensPen offers products designed to clean DSLR sensors, eyeglasses and smartphone, tablet and laptop screens and lenses. LensPen also offers products specially designed to clean law enforcement optics, as well as camera lenses on drones.
“The biggest names in the camera and outdoor markets trust LensPen to clean their fine optics,” Keating said. “Nikon, Sony, Leupold, Schmidt & Bender are among our OEM partners that put their names on LensPen products.”
And so does the United States military. The U.S. Marine Corps issues a LensPen with every Trijicon ACOG riflescope, and NASA counts on the SensorKlear Loupe Kit to keep dust off their optics and sensors in a zero-gravity environment.
LensPen products are environmentally safe and perform well in all climates, from desert heat to arctic cold. For more information on LensPen, go to www.lenspen.com. Watch LensPen clean at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXA6xynDz1c.
