CRKT is deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, legendary knife designer, Kit Carson. Kit had been a part of the CRKT family since 1999 when we released the iconic M16® series.
His M16® and M21™ designs have been, and continue to be, relied upon by our soldiers in the field as well as valued by everyday users. Kit’s influence on the industry will carry on through his distinctive designs and his generous mentoring of other knifemakers.
Everyone who met Kit was inspired by his compassion, sense of humor and his warmth. Kit Carson was a true gentleman and he will be greatly missed.
The following was taken from his obituary which was posted on The News-Enterprise. The entire obituary can be viewed at: http://bit.ly/1ufwEx8
