Under Vehicle Inspection Sled for Vehicle Search Systems (SLED)

Zistos now offers an Under Vehicle Inspection Sled for searching under vehicles, when the ground surface is soft or uneven.  The Under Vehicle Inspection Sled is available as an option for any Zistos Vehicle Inspection Systems and is fully backward compatible with existing systems.

Searching under a large vehicle or trailer can be difficult. The Sled is easy to operate on challenging surfaces because it has no wheels or arms to get stuck — it glides like a sled across any surface. It’s made of durable, chemical-resistant plastic that withstands the rigors of movement on rough surfaces like sand and rock. With our camera attached to the Sled, the Zistos Vehicle Search System allows the visual search of difficult to reach and inaccessible areas under vehicles without crawling or kneeling. The video image provides much greater details than those associated with mirrors. The system can be used anywhere — day or night — and in inclement weather conditions.
