Designer Brian Tighe leverages his years of working as a machinist when creating a knife. BT Fighter knives are two of the best representations of this method to date.
With deeply-carved and precisely engineered grooves on the handles balanced by eyecatching
swedges on the blades, they’re at one artistic and exceptionally useful.
Both knives feature the layered handle design built of glass-reinforced nylon and a
backspacer with deep grooves to help improve grip. Each is deployed with a flipper
smoothly and quickly with a ball bearing pivot system. They’re held in place with easy-to use
button locks.
The BT Fighter features a stainless steel drop point blade while the BT Fighter
Compact features a Tanto blade and a lighter build to go nearly undetected in a pocket.
“It almost disappears in your pocket,” Tighe says of the method behind the design. “The
clip makes for a super deep carry but the fob allows for a lanyard so it’s easily
accessible.”
