New Reactive Firebird Tactical Targets will only be available to Department of Defense, Law Enforcement Agencies and approved and recognized training and shooting facilities. It will be known as “Mil Spec” and in order to accommodate a reactive tactic to meet the potential needs of shooters of all types of weaponry it will be available in different sizes. Being square in shape it allows for an end-user to swiftly build a “bull’s eye” of any practicable size as a sniper may wish to zero using the 1” square whereas a pistol and carbine shooter may opt for a larger hit area target.
The Mil Spec will also be fully waterproof, magnetic, adhesive, able to be picked up on a scope using night vision, luminous and also if requested the ability to give off a light and heat emission.
The Systems
There are two principle models of Firebird Tactical Reactive Targets, The SniperFire and the Milspec both of which have been designed to provide specialist training systems to the Police and Military and both are proving to be an unrivalled revolutionary hit-recognition system. The Firebird Exploding SniperFire Target is a general purpose target designed for use in the civilian, police and military markets. It is currently available in circular 40mm and 65mm and is designed specifically for use with any live firing weapon excluding Simunition. The SniperFire target is produced with a high tack double sided tape applied allowing the target to be affixed to any clean and dry uniform surface such as plywood, fluted plastic or foam. The effect of ignition when hit has a visual range of 3000m.
The Firebird Tactical Mil-Spec Targets come in three square size variants; 25mm, 50mm and 100mm and designed specifically for use with any live firing weapon excluding Simunition, in tactical environments. There are two versions:

The Mil-Spec casing is magnetized, enabling instant fixing to any ferrous surface in all weathers together with having a high tack hot melt rubber adhesive disc allowing the targets to be attached to most dry smooth surfaces. The Mil-Spec’s water proofing means it can be left for extended periods in poor weather conditions.
For use in low light and night time shooting practices, Firebird Tactical’s unique Mil-Spec Ident is laser reflective, can be self-illuminating, can have an infra-red signature and is infra-red coated enabling it to be used as a very practical and realistic reactive target.
