Suicide belts, vests and chest-paks

Aug. 20, 2007
Securesearch Inc. manufactures inert improvised explosive device (IED) training aids. Each training aid, whether a belt, vest or chest-pack, contains multiple pockets of inert, simulated explosives, two or more electric detonators, one to four batteries, an arming switch, firing switch, audible "detonation" indication whistle and hook-up wiring. The simulated explosives range from inert dynamite cartridges to Semtex, C4 and TATP. Most of the units also contain metal built around elastic bandages, weight lifter's belts, athletic back support belts and photographer's belts, some with shoulder harnesses.
