The ESTeem Model 195Ed, from Electronic Systems Technologies Inc., is a wireless modem with independent Ethernet and Serial (RS-232C) interfaces designed for the rigors of the Industrial, Public Safety, and Federal markets in the unlicensed 902-928 MHz frequency band. The Model 195Ed, with a NEMA 4 enclosure, designed for direct outdoor pole mounting, is a Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) radio modem that can deliver 1 to 54 Mbps of RF data rate in high noise environments. Distances to 11 miles (Line-of-Sight) at 1 to 11 Mbps are possible for point to point and point to multi-point applications. Wireless networks over large geographical areas can be a reality using the internal MESHing feature. The 195Ed also has a Client Mode feature so it can be used as a high powered mobile radio in applications roaming under a 195Ed canopy.
