Rave Mobile Safety announced the latest version of Smart911; Smart911 2.0 is the industry’s first and only National Additional Data Provider that meets recommendations in The National Emergency Number Association (NENA) i3 Technical Requirements Document. Smart911 clients are the first on a path to Next Generation 9-1-1 functionality that dramatically improves public safety within their municipalities. Smart911 provides citizens with the ability to create a Safety Profile that is made available to 9-1-1 call takers through a secure website at www.Smart911.com.
The latest version of Smart911 will provide additional language options for citizens and enables simple registration through Facebook, making it even easier for citizens to register for the free service. Smart911 2.0 also features advanced reporting allowing PSAPs to analyze and benchmark their performance against similar PSAPs in their region or across the U.S., and a set of expanded application programming interfaces (APIs) for 3rd party providers of public safety solutions to embed Smart911 data into their applications.
In addition to enhanced reporting, the latest version of Smart911 2.0 further simplifies and enhances the citizen registration process. It will include multi-lingual registration and account management sites, and fields for pet information and additional photos, such as a home photo, to further assist first responders in citizen response. Citizens can also easily register through a Facebook interface. Additionally, Smart911 2.0 makes available enhanced programming interfaces that allow third parties such as CAD and 9-1-1 CTI vendors to embed and utilize the rich additional data set available in Smart911 profiles.
