Matco Inc. introduces the PDV-040 Pocket Digital Video Recorder specially designed for mobile surveillance applications. Substantially smaller than previous DVR devices, it is powered by either a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery or 12-volt DC. It has a built-in 20GB hard drive for 40 hours real-time recording. With it's A/V input/output ports and USB 2.0 interface, it accepts the regular audio/video signal, displays on a built-in 3.5-inch TFT LCD color monitor, and records digitally on the hard drive, or send the signal to a DVD Player or a PC. In addition, it is also a MPEG-4 and MP3 player. Overall dimensions are 5 1/8 inches wide by 3 3/8 inches high by 1 3/8 inches deep.
