The EDGE High-Definition in-car video system is COBAN’s certified (mil-spec 810G) solution for law enforcement vehicles. The system features a 5.7” touchscreen monitor with a simple interface for quick login and video tagging, as well as a mountable camera and wireless officer-worn microphone.
EDGE High-Definition does not require officers to select their video quality based on the event type. The “All HD, All the Time” feature takes the guesswork out of video quality selection, offering uncompromised quality with every second of video captured.
The FailSafe™ drive ensures your video is always retrievable, even if the system is damaged in an accident. Users can choose to wirelessly upload their recordings, or utilize the system’s removable solid-state drive if wireless upload is unavailable. The system's back office management system helps store and manage digital evidence, while wirelessly updating settings and software, eliminating any downtime for the fleet.
