EyeDetect Receives Government Security Award from Security Today Magazine
Converus’ advanced lie detection technology, EyeDetect, provides quality employee screening for the government security sector and, as a result, earned a Govies Government Security Award from Security Today magazine. Since 2009, this award has honored outstanding government security products in a variety of categories.
This Dallas-based magazine and its website are the only integrated product and technology magazine reaching the entire security market. An independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the top entries in the 2021 categories using criteria including features, innovation, user friendliness, interoperability, quality, design, market opportunity, and impact in the security industry, technical advances, and scalability.“It’s apparent that the COVID-19 pandemic had very little affect upon product development and deployment in the government security sector. We have seen a tremendous response from manufacturers who support the government vertical,” said Security Today Magazine Editor-in-Chief Ralph C. Jensen. “We appreciate all the manufacturers who labor diligently to ensure security in the government space.”
Last year Security Today named EyeDetect+ the 2020 New Product of the Year Award Winner, also in the employee screening category.
“Government security continues to be an ongoing concern,” said Converus President and CEO Todd Mickelsen. “EyeDetect offers an innovative solution for governments worldwide that’s fast, accurate and affordable. Our technology is now used in more than 50 countries, which speaks for itself.”
