This course is designed for experienced or newly appointed investigators to improve their skills and knowledge for successful surveillance and tracking operations. This course will address the concepts of foot surveillance, vehicle surveillance and the most advanced technology for tracking. Numerous "hands-on" practical exercises provide the students with the pragmatic application and use of electronic tracking systems in different environments and conditions as well as officer safety and cover team operations. Traditional operations and new technologies will be integrated to enhance the student's ability to apply the various methods of surveillance to specific operational requirements. This 40 hr course meets daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
