SureFire's 9-volt G3 will combine the G2 features plus a maximum light output of 105 lumens (40 lumens more than the G2). The G3's body will be constructed from Nitrolon, SureFire's proprietary polymer made from nylon and fine glass fibers for added rigidity, abrasion resistance and increased stability at higher temperatures. The non-conductive, non-corrosive body is molded to incorporate the same popular gridlock pattern as the G2, which makes it comfortable and easy to hold-even in adverse weather conditions or when hands get muddy, cold, or wet. The G3 will feature tailcap switching as well as SureFire's patented lockout tailcap that prevents accidental activation during transport or storage. In addition to a light output upgrade, the G3 will also sport an upgraded window made of tough, durable Pyrex glass with a thin layer of anti-reflective coating to help maximize light output. Total length is 6.5 inches, weigh 5.5 ounces, and run on three 3-volt lithium batteries, which will provide a runtime of about one hour. It will come in two colors-black and olive-drab green.
