LexisNexis Risk Solutions' Special Investigative Unit (SIU) helps government agencies better use its identity intelligence to fight fraud, ensure program integrity and keep communities safe. The SIU provides agencies with a highly trained team of experts dedicated to helping its customers understand and experience the full value of how its solutions can address their critical needs.
"There is nothing more important than helping our customers meet their agency missions and program goals by providing them with the best insights available from our solutions," said Haywood Talcove, CEO, Government, LexisNexis Risk Solutions. "Our focus is on big data and identity intelligence, while our customers' focus is rightly on their programs. The SIU will leverage our strengths and help our customers make sense of the data. In doing so, we will continue to exceed our customers' expectations through our technical expertise and technology solutions."
The SIU will be headed by Monty Faidley, Director of Health and Human Services and Special Investigative Unit. The new organization brings together an expert team of analyst and solutions consultants focused on the federal and education markets, the state and local government markets and the law enforcement market. The SIU will collaborate with customers in these markets to provide better investigative solutions to curtail public assistance program fraud; reduce abuse of public funds; improve tax compliance; and keep communities safe from crime, terrorism and cyber threats, among many other applications.
"Our identity intelligence solutions make a difference: they help law enforcement find missing persons, keep tax refunds out of the hands of organized crime and ensure public assistance goes to those who need it most...just to name a few," said Faidley. "While we had seen strong results from our previous structure, this new approach creates a centralized team of cross-trained analysts with the skills, tools and expertise to delight our customers and better solve their problems."
